Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

“Cookies” are pieces of information that may be placed on your computer by a service for the purpose of facilitating and enhancing your communication and interaction with that service. We may use cookies (and similar items such as clear gifs, web beacons, tags, etc.) on our Service to customize your visit and for other purposes to make your visit more convenient or to enable us to enhance our Service. We may also use and place cookies (and similar items) on your computer from our third party service providers in connection with the Service, such as an analytics provider that helps us manage and analyze Service usage, as described more fully below. In addition, our advertisers and business partners may set cookies and similar items on your computer when you use our Service. You may stop or restrict the placement of cookies on your computer or flush them from your browser by adjusting your web browser preferences, in which case you may still use our Service, but it may interfere with some of its functionality. Cookies and similar items are not used by us to automatically retrieve personally identifiable information from your computer without your knowledge. If you delete your cookies, change browsers or use a different cookie, our cookie (or an opt-out cookie) may no longer work and you will have to reinput (or opt-out) again.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Analytics and Conversion Tracking

We may use analytics services that use cookies, javascript and similar technologies to help us analyze how users use the Service. The information generated by these services about your use of the Service (including your IP address or a truncated version of your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by analytics service providers on their servers. Those service providers will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your, and other users’, use of the Service, compiling reports for us on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and in order to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

For example, we use cookies on our site for Google Analytics (the “Analytics Service”). The Analytics Service is a web-based analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. The Analytics Service customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it.

Like many services, the Analytics Service uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We then use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our site.

Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page.

The Analytics Service collects information anonymously. They report website trends without identifying individual visitors. You can opt out of the Analytics Service without affecting how you visit our site. For more information on opting out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites you use, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Depending on the law of your country of residence, your IP address may legally be considered personally identifiable information.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. grandsons 1st train

every thing was so exciting for him to get all set up and he started the train for the 1st time his eyes were on fire

Great locomotive

Just getting back into the hobby after 30 years and I am very impressed how nice these new locomotives run. Very smooth and quiet

cute house. scale seems nice

But mostly I like Squeaky's Trains for great pricing! Thanks Squeaky's!

Just what the doctor ordered

Work, looks as described. Just what I was looking for and needed.

DCC ESU Decoder Tester

Very pleased with my purchase have not had a chance to use it yet. Looking forward to fine tuning and setting up ESU decoders.

Kato curved unitrack

Was very happy that it came right away and was well packaged. It was also priced lower than the other shops and will definitely order again!

Kadee 634 centering spring

They will do the job is why I got them for wheel pickup power

great service

Very well packaged and received timely. Will use for sure again.

Hands On

I ordered two batteries separatly by accident. Thought about about calling to combine them but i never got around to it. Squeaky's combined them anyway, probably saving me shipping cost. Also, after 2 battery fires (batteries not from Squeakys) I now exclusively use MTO battery packs which are somewhat hard to find. Squeaky's tries to keep the MTO batteries in stock and they are knowledgable about them which makes them my exclusive source!

It's installed

Didn't do my homework very well. Was looking for a Loksound 5 with keep alive to use with my prewired Nix decoder buddy in UP 1804 switcher. Removed the decoder buddy and installed this ESU 58921. Wired in the rotary beacon and ditch lights front and back. Everything works great! My only minor gritch is the horn which is pretty anemic. I've ordered the Lokprogrammer so I can change this. No worries. Thanks.

Service is EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Everything always arrives before I expect it!!! Packaging is always great!!! My daughter loves the little treats in every order, by far my favorite online store!!!!!

Awesome Speaker

If you've got room for it in your locomotive, this speaker blows the previous generation out of the water! The bass on this speaker is awesome, and it's really brought my locomotive to life! I highly recommend it.

Typical KATO quality

Woodland vacuum

It sucks!

Very convenient, especially for locomotives

To keep the pads fairly clean, I put a paper towel over the top of part of the cleaner and use Goo be gone on the paper towel. That puts most of the dirt on the paper towel. On a brass steam engine, the tender has to be on the metal rail and least some of the drive Wheels on the locomotive have to also be on the metal rail, so the wheels have to be cleaned in a couple of passes. For cars, I use the paper towels on a section of spare track rather than getting the pads on the device dirty.

Coupler height

It is simple to use, mine is mounted on a piece of test track at eye level when I’m sitting . Not just height of coupler but does it couple and release. I use a strong magnet , run it under to uncouple

Just Plug Lighting System | Red LED Nano Lights?

Worked out fine for project.

Just Plug Blue Coupe

The Blue Coupe looks great emerging from the highway tunnel on my layout. I love how easy Just Plug cars are to hook up. Squeaky’s Trains offer the best prices on the web and they have fast shipping. Two thumbs up!

Excellent service and will definitely buy from again.

AMMO R-0017 | Pullman Green (15 ML) | Acrylic Paints

Beautiful paint matching pullman green. I am using this paint to cover up the Polar Express passenger cars. They really look good with this Pullman green. The passenger cars look very realistic and make this set look true to life.

Red LED Flashing Nano Lights

The purchase went fine.
