Blunami is a Tsunami2 with a Bluetooth radio added, so it runs three ways: as a normal DCC decoder on any NMRA-compliant system, on plain DC, or in wireless mode straight from your phone or tablet.

Wireless mode needs no command station and no programming track — an old DC power pack and the free Blunami app are enough, and CVs can be read and changed over Bluetooth while the locomotive is running. The app is free for iOS and Android. This version is the big-scale Blunami: a 4-amp motor rating and screw terminals instead of solder joints, suited to S, O and Large Scale.

Features

9 ALCO prime movers: ALCO 539 Turbo, ALCO 539 Non-Turbo, ALCO 244 Turbo, ALCO 251A i6, ALCO 251C v12, ALCO 251C v12 Super Charged, ALCO 251C v12 Century Series, ALCO 251C v16, ALCO 251C v16 Super Charged

Over 40 air horns and 13 bells, plus air compressors, couplers and dynamos

Bluetooth control from the free Blunami app (iOS and Android) — over 300 settings without editing a single CV by hand

Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) automatically matches exhaust volume and RPM to the load on the motor, and the app calibrates it for you

Three braking types: independent, train and dynamic braking

Hyperdrive2 motor control for smooth, creep-speed switching

Over 20 Hyperlight lighting effects across 8 function outputs

16 polyphonic sound channels on a 32-bit processor, with a 7-band equalizer and adjustable reverb

CurrentKeeper ready — works with the SoundTraxx 810140 CurrentKeeper

More Information

Item Number:

SoundTraxx 885619

Model:

BLU-4408 Blunami

Sound Set:

ALCO Diesel

Scale:

S, O and Large Scale

Decoder Size:

69 x 30.5 x 14mm

Connection:

Screw terminal blocks (no soldering)

Max.
