Woodland Scenics Woodland Scenics 621 | Static Grass Dark Green 7mm
Woodland Scenics 621 Static Grass in Dark Green 7mm gives your layout the look of mature, overgrown summer fields and tall meadow grass that towers over your scene. The deep green tone is the workhorse color for late-spring through summer ground cover, and the 7mm fibers stand straight up when applied with a static grass applicator for a realistic windblown look. Looking for more scenery and ground cover? Browse our Scenery collection and Track Tools & Accessories for static grass applicators and matching shades. Features 7mm (1/4") fiber length — reads as tall, unkempt grass in HO, S, and O scales, or as thick brush-like vegetation in N and Z scales. Dark Green shade represents mature, deep-toned summer grass and works beautifully blended with lighter greens and burnt tones for natural variation. 42 grams per shaker bottle — enough material to cover a substantial area when applied properly. Stands upright when applied with the Woodland Scenics Static King or any compatible static grass applicator. Part of the Woodland Scenics Field System — fully compatible with their other static grass colors and lengths for blending. Scale: Multi-scale (works in N, HO, S, O, Z). More Information Brand Woodland Scenics Item Number FS621 Color Dark Green Fiber Length 7mm (1/4") Net Weight 42 grams Scale Multi-scale (N, HO, S, O, Z) Product Type Static Grass / Ground Cover System Woodland Scenics Field System Condition New UPC 724771006213 FAQ What scale is this static grass for? It's multi-scale. The 7mm fiber length reads as tall, unmowed grass in HO, S, and O, and as brush-like vegetation or weed clumps in N and Z. Pick a shorter length (2mm or 4mm) for a manicured-lawn look in HO. Do I need a static grass applicator to use this? For the upright "growing" effect that makes static grass so realistic, yes — you need a static grass applicator like the Woodland Scenics Static King. You can still sprinkle the fibers onto wet glue without an applicator, but they'll lay flat rather than stand up. Can I blend this with other Woodland Scenics static grass colors?Absolutely — blending is the trick to a natural look. Pair Dark Green 7mm with Medium Green (FS622), Light Green (FS623), Harvest Gold (FS624), or Burnt Grass (FS625) for variation that matches real fields and meadows. How much area does one bottle cover?Coverage depends on application density, but the 42g bottle realistically covers several square feet of layout when applied at typical density. For large open fields, plan on more than one bottle.

SoundTraxx SoundTraxx 885022 | TSU-2200 Tsunami2 (2-amp) EMD-2 Diesel Sound Decoder | HO Scale
The SoundTraxx 885022 is a TSU-2200 Tsunami2 2-amp DCC sound decoder carrying the EMD-2 diesel sound set. EMD-2 is SoundTraxx's second collection of EMD prime movers, covering the 567, 645 and 710 variants that the standard EMD profile leaves out. If you model a GP9, SD9, GP39, SD45, GP60, SD70MAC or any of the other locomotives listed below, this is the sound set built for it. Tsunami2 combines a full sound system, Hyperdrive2 motor control, Hyperlight lighting effects and a DCC decoder on one board. A 32-bit processor drives 28 functions and 16 polyphonic sound channels, so the prime mover, horn, bell and brake squeal all play at once without cutting each other off. Dynamic Digital Exhaust reads the load on the motor and notches engine RPM up and down on its own, so pulling a heavy train upgrade actually sounds like work. This is a universal, hardwire-style decoder measuring 35 x 18 x 6mm, sized for a wide range of HO and S scale diesels. Which Locomotives Does the EMD-2 Sound Set Cover? The 885022 carries eight selectable EMD prime movers. Pick the one that matches your locomotive with a single CV change. Locomotive assignments below follow SoundTraxx's own diesel sound selection reference. EMD 567, 12-cylinder, no transition NW2, NW3, NW5, SW7, SW9, SW1200 EMD 567C, 16-cylinder, non-turbo F9, FP9, GP9, SD9 EMD 645E, 12-cylinder, non-turbo GP15-1, GP15AC, SW1500, SW1504, MP15AC, MP15DC EMD 645E, 12-cylinder, turbo GP39, GP39-2, SD39, SDL39 EMD 645F, 16-cylinder, turbo GP40X, GP50, SD40X, SD50 EMD 645E, 20-cylinder, turbo F45, FP45, SD45, SD45X, SD45-2, SDP45, SD45T-2 EMD 710G, 12-cylinder F59PH, F59PHI, GP59 EMD 710G, 16-cylinder GP60, GP60M, GP60B, SD60, SD60M, SD60I, SD60F, SD70, SD70M, SD70I, SD70ACU, SD70MAC, SD70M-2, SD75I, SD75M Features Eight EMD-2 prime movers selectable by CV, covering the 567, 645 and 710 engines listed above Over 40 selectable air horns, plus bells, air compressors, couplers and dynamos, for more than 50 individual sound effects Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) matches exhaust volume and engine RPM to the load on the motor automatically Three braking types: independent, train and dynamic braking, each with variable load sound Hyperdrive2 motor control for smooth creep-speed switching and prototypical momentum Over 20 Hyperlight lighting effects spread across six function outputs 16 polyphonic sound channels so horn, bell and prime mover never cut each other off CurrentKeeper ready with an onboard quick-plug connector for the SoundTraxx 810140 2-watt audio amplifier into an 8-ohm load, enough for a full-size HO speaker Specifications Item Number: SoundTraxx 885022 UPC: 812165023257 Decoder Model: TSU-2200 Tsunami2 Sound Profile: EMD-2 Diesel Scale: HO to S scale Connection Type: Universal hardwire Decoder Size: 35 x 18 x 6mm Max. Motor Stall Current: 2A Max. Function Current: 100mA (each output) Function Outputs: 6 Audio Amplifier: 2 Watt, 8-Ohm Load DCC Track Voltage: 7.5V to 22V Sound Channels: 16 polyphonic Processor: 32-bit, 28 functions Brand: SoundTraxx Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between the EMD and EMD-2 sound sets? Both cover EMD diesels. The original EMD profile carries the most common prime movers, such as the 567 non-turbo in F-units and early Geeps and the 645 turbo in the SD40-2 and SD45. EMD-2 carries a second group of engines, including the 567C in the GP9 and SD9, the 645E 20-cylinder in the SD45 family and the 710G 16-cylinder in the SD60 and SD70 series. Check the coverage table above for your locomotive. If it is not listed there, the 885005 EMD profile is the one you want. Will this fit my locomotive? The TSU-2200 is a universal hardwire decoder measuring 35 x 18 x 6mm, intended for HO and S scale diesels. It is not a drop-in board replacement. You wire it to the motor, pickups, lights and speaker. If your locomotive has a decoder plug, look at the TSU-PNP8 or TSU-21PNEM8 versions of the same sound set instead. Is a speaker included? No. The onboard amplifier is rated 2 watts into an 8-ohm load, so choose any 8-ohm speaker that fits your shell from our DCC speakers range. What does the 2-amp rating mean?It is the maximum motor stall current the decoder can handle. Two amps covers virtually every HO diesel, including twin-motor units. Smaller single-motor installs can also use the 1-amp TSU-1100 version. Do I need a CurrentKeeper? It is optional and well worth it. The 810140 CurrentKeeper is a capacitor pack that carries the decoder across dirty track, frogs and turnouts so the sound does not reset. This decoder has the quick-plug connector for it built in. Does it work on a DC layout?Yes. Tsunami2 runs on analog DC out of the box, though sound and lighting features are limited compared with DCC operation. Full function control needs a DCC system. How do I select a different prime mover? Each engine in the coverage table is chosen with a single CV setting, documented in the Tsunami2 diesel user guide included with the decoder. You can change it as often as you like, so one decoder can be re-tasked if you sell or re-motor the locomotive. Explore More Browse the full SoundTraxx range, compare every DCC decoder we stock, or see the other EMD-2 sound profile decoders, including the 4-amp TSU-4400 for larger installs and the TSU-N18 for N scale. You will also need a speaker, so browse our DCC speakers, and most installs go easier with parts from DCC wiring. Add a SoundTraxx 810140 CurrentKeeper to keep sound alive over dirty track and turnouts.

Broadway Limited Imports Broadway Limited 9141 | EMD GP30 - Paragon4 DCC Sound - Southern Pacific #5012 | HO Scale
Broadway Limited's HO scale EMD GP30 brings Southern Pacific's iconic "Bloody Nose" #5012 to your layout, rendered with road-specific detailing and the all-new Paragon4 sound and DCC system. The GP30 was EMD's response to GE's U25B and a turning point in the second-generation diesel race — 948 were built between 1961 and 1963, and SP rostered them as core mainline power for decades. With Rolling Thunder bass, GoPack capacitor packs, and individually controllable lighting, this is a layout-ready locomotive that runs as good as it looks. Looking for more HO Scale locomotives? Browse our HO Trains & Track and HO Track & Accessories. Features Flywheel-equipped drive with all-wheel pickup and a die-cast chassis for smooth, heavy pulling power Individually controllable headlight, rear light, front and rear numberboard lights, classification lights, cab light, and Mars light Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC with Rolling Thunder, integral GoPack capacitor pack, recordable DCC operation, and Pro Lighting Mode Metal Kadee-compatible couplers (qty 2) and 18" minimum operating radius — runs on Code 70, 83, and 100 rail Road-specific Southern Pacific Bloody Nose paint and details: handrails, grab irons, horn, bell, wipers, and etched metal grills Scale: HO (1:87) More Information Brand Broadway Limited Imports Item Number 9141 Scale HO (1:87) Road Name Southern Pacific (Bloody Nose) Road Number 5012 Locomotive Type Diesel (EMD GP30) DCC DCC Sound Equipped (Paragon4 Dual-Mode DC/DCC) Era Transition Era / Modern (1961–present) Minimum Curve Radius 18" Couplers Metal Kadee-compatible (qty 2) Condition New FAQ Will it run on a DC layout right out of the box?Yes. Paragon4 is a true dual-mode decoder — you can run it on standard analog DC or on any DCC system without any changes. Does the sound work in DC mode?Yes. The integral GoPack capacitor pack keeps audio playing reliably even on dirty track or through dead spots, in both DC and DCC. What's "Rolling Thunder"?It's Broadway Limited's accessory subwoofer system that adds prototype-level low bass to the locomotive's prime mover sound. The GP30's onboard speaker handles full audio on its own; Rolling Thunder is optional. What era is this Southern Pacific scheme correct for?The "Bloody Nose" scarlet-and-gray scheme appeared in 1958 and ran through the SP merger in 1996, so this engine fits any 1960s-through-mid-1990s SP layout.

FAQ How is Econami different from Tsunami2?Both are 16-bit with Hyperdrive2 motor control, 28 functions and 20+ lighting effects. Econami has a smaller sound library (5 prime movers, 16 air horns and 7 bells against Tsunami2’s 12, 40+ and 14), 12 sound channels instead of 16, and no reverb. If your prototype is covered by the list above, Econami saves you real money. Is a speaker included? No. Pair it with any 8-ohm speaker rated 2 watt or better that fits your shell. Does it have Dynamic Digital Exhaust? No. DDE is on the Econami steam decoders and across the Tsunami2 line, but not on Econami diesel. You do get dynamic braking on F4. Will it fit my locomotive? It measures 74 x 17 x 5mm and connects by drop-in factory light-board replacement with six function tabs. Check that against the space in your shell before ordering.
