The SoundTraxx 810114 is a 30mm round mylar speaker built for DCC sound installations in HO and larger scale model trains. With its 8 ohm impedance and 1 watt peak power handling, it pairs cleanly with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, Econami, and Blunami sound decoders to deliver authentic prime mover, horn, and bell audio — and its slim 5.3mm depth fits into shells where bigger speakers simply will not go.

FAQ
Will this speaker work with any DCC sound decoder? It is optimized for SoundTraxx Tsunami2, Econami, and Blunami decoders, and works with any 8 ohm-compatible sound decoder including Digitrax SoundFX, ESU LokSound, and TCS WOWSound systems.
Does this speaker come with an enclosure? No — the 810114 is the bare speaker only. SoundTraxx and aftermarket suppliers offer matching baffles and enclosures separately, and adding one will noticeably improve bass response and overall sound quality.
What scales is this best for?The 30mm diameter is most commonly used in HO scale diesel and steam locomotive installs, but it fits any larger scale (S, O, G) installation with enough room. For tight N scale projects, look at the smaller 20mm or 13mm SoundTraxx speakers instead.
How do I wire this speaker?Solder the two pads on the back of the speaker to the speaker output leads of your sound decoder. Polarity is not critical for a single-speaker install — just keep solder joints clean and do a low-volume test before final installation.
