Both rooms have a retro aesthetic with vintage tile floors, classic wood paneling, dressers, lamps and a hot plate for cooking. One room is neat and tidy and the other features a messy, unmade bed. In the office, two cats lounge on the check-in countertop and waiting room chair. Magazine and travel brochures are available for browsing local attractions. These ex-Clinchfield flatcars were converted into icebreaker cars in 1984 by the Seaboard Railroad, and they later made their way to CSX. To prevent impact damage to revenue railcars and lading, these cars featured large vertical steel frames to physically clear icicles from the inside of tunnels and low bridges.
