Shipping Cost
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on weight, size, destination, and shipping method selected. We require a signature for delivery on all orders over $500. Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC reserves the right to require a signature or change shipping carriers as needed, regardless of the method selected during checkout.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO
All shipments to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses must be sent via USPS. No exceptions. Please note that some orders may require a signature for delivery.
Shipping Times
We strive to ship all in-stock orders the same day if possible, and no later than the next business day. If there is any delay in shipment, we will do our best to notify you promptly.
If you believe a parcel has been lost or stolen after delivery, please notify local authorities and contact Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC via email, support ticket, or live chat immediately.
International Shipping
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and import charges. These are not calculated at checkout and are assessed by your country’s customs office.
Our 30-Day Free Return Policy does not apply to international orders.
Pre-Order Terms & Conditions
- We will do our best to ship Pre-Order products in accordance with their expected ship date. If this changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- You are responsible for keeping your shipping and contact information up to date. Contact us at support@squeakystrains.com to make updates to your order.
- We offer two types of Pre-Orders:
- $0.00 Pre-Order: You will NOT be charged at the time of order. When the item becomes available, we will contact you to confirm shipment and send an invoice to complete your purchase.
- Pre-Paid Pre-Order: You pay in full at checkout. Your item is reserved and may automatically ship once available, though in most cases you will be contacted first to confirm shipment. Shipping will be invoiced separately unless your order qualifies for free shipping and is not overweight or excluded.
- For $0.00 Pre-Orders, the checkout page will reflect a $0 balance. This does not indicate a sale or discount.
- For both $0.00 and Pre-Paid Pre-Orders, final shipping charges are based on our standard Squeaky’s Choice rate. Orders over our free shipping threshold (and not overweight or excluded) may qualify for free shipping. Optional shipping upgrades may be offered at the time of checkout or invoicing.
- We do our best to honor prices shown at the time of Pre-Order, but pricing may change due to supplier updates. In such cases, we will notify you before invoicing or shipping.
- Pre-Orders may be cancelled or adjusted by contacting support@squeakystrains.com. Because we place orders with our suppliers specifically when customers reserve these items, we ask that changes be made only when necessary so we can continue offering a wide range of products without excess inventory.
- No discounts, refunds, or credits will be issued for delays beyond our control.
Backorder & Special Order Terms & Conditions
- We aim to ship Backorder and Special Order items within 1–2 weeks. If additional delays occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- These items are not guaranteed to be in stock. If an item becomes unavailable, we will offer the option to cancel without penalty.
- You are responsible for keeping your contact and shipping details up to date. Email us at support@squeakystrains.com to make changes.
- Final shipping charges may differ at time of shipment due to weight, dimensional changes, or packaging adjustments. We will invoice any additional shipping charges as needed, unless your order qualifies for free shipping and is not overweight or excluded.
- No discounts, refunds, or credits will be offered for supplier-related delays.
Distributor Warehouse Product Terms & Conditions
- Distributor Warehouse products typically ship within 1–3 business days. If delays arise, we will inform you promptly.
- These products are not guaranteed to be in stock. If unavailable, we will offer to cancel the order without charge.
- Free shipping exclusions may apply. Distributor Warehouse items may not be combined with In-Stock items for free shipping. If both types are ordered together, shipping may be charged separately for each.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase, provided items are unopened and in new condition.
All discrepancies or damages must be reported within 14 days of delivery. For damaged, incorrect, or missing items, contact support@squeakystrains.com or use live chat support.
We reserve the right to test returned items. If no defects are found, a replacement may not be issued. Items showing signs of use may be refused for return. We also reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with a history of frequent returns or abuse of our policies.
Order cancellations must be submitted via email or live chat prior to shipment.
Oversized and/or Heavy Packages
Oversized or heavy packages may incur dimensional weight charges imposed by carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL). These charges may result in additional shipping fees not reflected during initial checkout. We will notify you if this applies to your order.
General Shipping Notes
- We may combine shipments whenever possible to reduce waste and shipping costs.
- Carrier or weather-related delays are out of our control, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed.
- Packaging may include recycled materials to reduce environmental impact.
