Sam's Roadhouse kit features:Found at roadside in rural areas or along the outskirts of town this type of roadhouse is based on juke joints that would have offered drink, food, dancing and maybe even a few groceries or "recreational" gambling in the back room. Sam's is located far enough off the beaten path that an outhouse is provided. Build it without the signs and use it for a house. This kit was inspired by my friend Sam Syzdek's excellent scratchbuilt model. Kit includes laser-cut wood structures that features laser etched vertical planks with nail holes, knots and imperfections in precision fit tab and slot walls. Laser cut floor has a laser etched porch floor with nail holes etched in random length boards. Laser cut door trim, screen door, window trim and corner trim feature peel-n-stick adhesive for easier assembly. Windows may be installed open or closed. Also includes laser cut handrail, stairs and a stair assembly jig. Stairs may be built on either the right or left side of the porch as shown above. Roadhouse and outhouse have laser-cut peel-n-stick pre-weathered corrugated roofing. Roadhouse includes a cast metal smokejack and outside non-working lamps. Roadside sign frame and a great selection of signs from our extensive collection. Outhouse has fully detailed interior and may be built with door open or closed. Sunset Motel kit features: Kit is based on the classic look of a 1950's-1970's motel design that could still be in business today. This type of motel could be found on any well traveled highway in big or small towns alike. Includes an office structure, two 4-room motel units and roadside sign. Flexible design allows the structures to be positioned to fit your available space. Typical arrangements would include straight line like the photo at top of page, angular as shown just above this description or and "L" shape layout (not shown). Office structure is reminiscent of a streamline moderne design. Structure includes tab and slot walls, floor and sub-roof, canopy over driveway, laser cut peel-n-stick windows, door, roofing and trim. Also includes "Motel" rooftop sign and laser etched sidewalks and curb. Optional flagstone wainscot is also provided. Motel units include two identical 4-room structures as shown. Each motel structure features tab and slot clapboard walls (HO) or scribed walls (N), roof and floor. Peel-n-stick doors, windows, gable vents and trim. Peel-n-stick laser-cut printed 3-tab roofing. Decorative porch posts and laser etched sidewalks. And a rooftop "Sunset Motel" sign. Details include a spectacular laser-cut roadside sign and a soda machine. Also included are a great selection of realistic motel signs from the Blair Line photo collection. HO scale motel office (including canopy) is 5.00" x 3.31". Pizzaland kit features: This structure is based on the original Pizzaland building made famous in the opening credits "drive" on the hit show Sopranos on HBO. This kit is officially licensed by Pizzaland. We worked closely with the owner of the real Pizzaland to make our kit a close replica of the prototype structure in North Arlington, New Jersey. We even include the air conditioner, crawl space openings and burglar bars to make it authentic. Pizzaland would look great in just about any business district, industrial area or at roadside. And its small footprint will make it easy to find room for this kit. This is one kit you must have on your layout. Kapeesh?! Kit features laser-cut floor, sidewalk, roofing, interior and exterior walls with tab and slot connections. Front wall is laser etched brick, cut with exactly the same brick pattern as the prototype.
