Description

Bring authentic street-corner detail to your modern-era HO scale layout with the Lineside Details LD-7700 — a 2-pack of modern US stop signs modeled to current FHWA/MUTCD traffic standards. Drop them into urban grade crossings, suburban side streets, industrial spurs, or any scene where a road meets the tracks at a controlled stop.

About the Signs

Lineside Details produces some of the sharpest HO signage on the market — crisp red retroreflective-look print, the correct white "STOP" lettering, and prototypical proportions for the modern octagonal sign. Each pack contains two pre-assembled sign-on-post units ready to plant. The metal-colored back of each sign sells the realism from any angle.

FAQ

Are these pre-assembled?
Yes — each sign is already mounted on its post. Just drill a hole in your scenery and plant it.

Can I use these at a railroad crossing?
Yes. Modern MUTCD allows a STOP sign to be used in place of a YIELD sign at passive grade crossings where line-of-sight or train speed warrants a full stop. Pair with a crossbuck for the prototypical setup.

What era fits?
Modern — anywhere from the late 1970s onward when the current octagonal red/white STOP sign became the federal standard.

Will these work outside grade crossing scenes?
Absolutely. They look right at any intersection on your layout — downtown, residential streets, industrial driveways, anywhere a road needs traffic control.
