Lionel 6-85226 | 180-Watt PowerHouse Power Supply 10A AC | O Scale

The Lionel 6-85226 PowerHouse Power Supply is a heavy-duty 180-watt, 10-amp AC unit built to power large O scale layouts and high-current locomotives. Designed to work with Lionel's CW-80, ZW-L, ZW-C, and PowerMaster controllers, it delivers clean, regulated power for command-control operation, accessories, and lighting.

• Heavy-duty 180 watts / 10 amps of clean AC power.
• Direct AC output — the controller handles voltage regulation and direction.
• Compatible with CW-80, ZW-L, ZW-C, PowerMaster, and Powerhouse-equipped controllers.
• Built-in thermal protection and overload safety circuits.
• Compact form factor — stack multiple units for big layouts.
• Standard barrel connector plug for plug-and-play operation.

Will this power my whole layout?
Yes — 180 watts handles a substantial O scale layout with multiple locomotives, accessories, and lighting. For larger layouts you can stack multiple PowerHouse units.

What controller do I need?
The PowerHouse is a power supply, not a controller. You need it paired with a Lionel CW-80, ZW-L, ZW-C, PowerMaster, or PowerHouse-compatible controller, which handles direction and voltage.

Is this for AC or DC?
This unit outputs AC power — the standard for Lionel three-rail O gauge.

Does it work with my older Lionel transformer?
This is a replacement / supplementary supply for modern Lionel command systems. Older postwar transformers like the original ZW use their own integrated supplies.
