Does the DSXCP1 work without a DS74?
No — the DSXCP1 is designed specifically as a fascia control panel for the Digitrax DS74 Quad Switch Stationary Decoder. You'll need a DS74 to use it.
How many DSXCP1 panels can I connect to one DS74?
The DS74 supports up to four DSXCP1 panels, one for each of its four switch outputs.
Do I need the DSXC4 connector?
Not necessarily. The DSXCP1 can be wired directly to the DS74's input cable. The optional DSXC4 simply makes it a plug-and-play connection if you prefer not to solder or splice wires.
What size hole do I need to drill in my fascia?
