The Digitrax TSMK is the adapter between signals you already own and a Digitrax signal system. Two terminal strip boards, with the current-limiting resistors already on them, take bare wires from your existing signals on screw terminals at one end and accept a standard signal driver cable at the other - so you keep the signals you have built or bought and still drive them properly.

What problem does this solve?
You already have signals on the layout - scratch-built, from another manufacturer, or installed before you went to DCC signalling - and you want to drive them from a signal decoder without pulling them out and starting again.
Do I still need resistors for my LEDs?
No. The current-setting resistors are on the board already, which is most of the value of the kit.
How many signals will one kit handle?
Two boards, each covering one to four signal heads, so up to eight heads per kit depending on how they are arranged.
What else do I need?
A signal decoder to drive the aspects and a signal driver cable to reach the boards - the SDCK kit provides the cable and sockets.
