Do I need anything else to start running trains?
Just add a locomotive and cars! This set includes the power pack, feeder track, and all the Unitrack pieces you need for a complete oval. Locomotives and rolling stock are sold separately.
Can I expand this layout later?
Absolutely. Kato's Master/Variation system is designed for expansion. Add any V-series set (like the V1 passing siding or V2 single track) or individual Unitrack pieces to create sidings, yards, and more complex track plans.
Is Unitrack compatible with other N Scale track brands?
Unitrack uses its own proprietary joiner system, but Kato offers adapter tracks (sold separately) to connect with standard N Scale rail-joiner track from Atlas, Peco, and others.
