What does an inner passing loop do for my layout?
It creates a second parallel siding inside your main oval, so two trains can run on the same loop and pass each other realistically — one tucks into the siding while the other rolls by on the main.
Will this work with my existing Lionel FasTrack starter set?
Yes. It uses the standard FasTrack roadbed system and O36 curves, the same geometry as Lionel's basic FasTrack starter ovals, so it drops right in.
Are the switches manual or remote?
Both included switches are manually operated — you throw them by hand at the trackside. No wiring or controller needed.
Do I need any extra power for this pack?
No. There are no electronics or accessory motors in the pack — power simply runs through the rails from your existing transformer.
