FAQ

Does this kit require glue and paint?
Yes. This is a traditional styrene kit — plastic cement is required for assembly, and while the parts are molded in appropriate colors, weathering and paint will bring out the best detail.

Can I run track right up to the building?
Yes. The base has grooves molded in to accept Code 83 or Code 100 rail, so you can model it as a rail-served industry with a siding running inside.

What era does this building fit?
It fits nearly any layout from the steam era through modern day — these clerestory-roof industrial buildings have stayed in continuous use and fit anywhere from the 1920s onward.

What's a good industry to model with this kit?
Works well as a crane manufacturer, machine shop, maintenance or fleet garage, or any light-industry anchor on an urban or small-town layout.
