Will this work alongside cork roadbed I already have?
Yes. The profile matches common HO cork roadbed (3/16" thick, beveled shoulders), so you can transition between the two on the same layout without a step or visible mismatch.
How is the track attached — glue or nails?
Both work. Most builders glue with foam-safe adhesive (latex caulk is a popular choice) for the quietest install, but track nails will hold in the foam if you prefer mechanical fastening.
Can I cut it for curves and turnouts?
Yes. A standard hobby or utility knife splits or trims it cleanly. Many builders split each section lengthwise down the center to follow tighter curves.
Is this for double-track or single-track?
Single-track. For two parallel tracks at the standard 2" center spacing, use Walthers 948-9010 Double-Track Roadbed instead.
