Hapag-Lloyd's orange boxes are some of the easiest to pick out in a modern double stack train, and this Walthers SceneMaster three pack puts a matched trio of 40' fully corrugated containers on your HO scale layout in one go. Each container comes assembled and painted in Hapag-Lloyd orange with the blue company logo and black lettering, ready to drop into a well car, ride on a container flatcar, or stack up at the terminal.
Three at once makes it quick to fill out a stack train or build a believable row of boxes in the yard, and the 40' length fits nearly every well car and container flatcar on the market.
We do not keep this one on the shelf, but we can bring it in for you. Place your order here and we order it from Walthers right away. The day it reaches us we ship it out, or hold it at the counter for pickup. Walthers shows stock on this item today, so it typically arrives in about a week. Get in touch any time for a current ETA.
How many containers come in the pack?
Three. All three are 40' fully corrugated containers decorated for Hapag-Lloyd.
Is this a kit?
No. The containers come fully assembled and painted, ready to place on your layout straight out of the box.
Will they fit in a well car?
Yes. These are standard HO scale 40' containers, sized as loads for WalthersProto and WalthersMainline well cars and container flatcars. A 48' well car such as the WalthersProto Gunderson 48' well car (920-109214) takes a 40' box in the bottom position.
Do they include a chassis or trailer?
No, these are the containers only. Well cars, flatcars and chassis are sold separately.
What else goes with these?
The 40' Hi-Cube corrugated-side container in Ocean Network Express livery (949-8275) is the same length in a taller box, and the 53' Singamas container in Hub Group green (949-8505) makes a good top box for a mixed double stack.
