The Walthers Cornerstone HO Scale Grain Conveyor is an ideal addition to any diesel-era grain elevator or feed mill scene. Conveyor "legs," or elevators, lift wet and dry grain using an endless bucket conveyor. At the top, the funnel-shaped distribution head routes grain into the proper pipe, sending it cascading into storage bins, surge bin, covered hopper or grain truck. A typical grain operation has two or more legs, with at least one each dedicated to incoming wet or outbound dry grain. Use the Grain Conveyor with other Cornerstone grain-related structures and cars. A vital part of train operations, this kit has ben carefully designed to fit most layouts and the 90' turntable has a one-piece pit for drop-in mounting. Once assembled, the bridge is manually position able. The kit includes the pit, gear drive, realistic decals and complete instructions. Complete hookup instructions cover wiring, adding track and more. The detailed bridge includes the operator's cab, handrails and a traditional arch (used to supply electrical power to the drive motors on the prototypes).
