What's the prototype history of car #101?
Built in 1950 by Pullman-Standard as Coach No. 5447, the car originally bore the name Pocatello (after Shoshone Chief Pocatello) and was renamed "Lone Star" in 2001 following a major interior overhaul to honor Union Pacific's operations in Texas. Today it runs on UP excursion consists and special trains.

Does the drumhead light up?
Yes — the "Building America" drumhead is backlit and individually controllable along with the rest of the LED lighting via roof-touch controls.

Will this run on my layout's curves?
The minimum operating radius is 18 inches, so it will work on most HO layouts including modest 4×8 setups.

Are couplers included?
Yes — operating Kadee couplers are factory-installed and compatible with Code 70, 83, and 100 rail.
