Is this DCC equipped?
No — this is the Standard DC analog version. It is, however, DCC ready and accepts a drop-in Train Control Systems K4D6 decoder or ESU LokSound 5 micro for sound + DCC operation without hard wiring.

What's the minimum operating radius?
9-3/4" (249mm) — works on Kato Unitrack curves R249 and larger, but wider curves are recommended for best appearance with this long-hood prototype.

Does this come with bi-level cars?
No, this is the locomotive only. Kato makes matching bi-level Metra commuter cars sold separately to build a complete consist.

How does this differ from the 176-6123 release?
The 176-6124 is Metra #424 in the updated 2020 livery; the 176-6123 is Metra #403 in the earlier paint scheme. Mechanically they're the same chassis.
