What decoders does this speaker work with?
Any 8-ohm sound decoder, including SoundTraxx Tsunami2, Econami, and Blunami, as well as most other brands. Just match the speaker’s 8-ohm impedance to your decoder’s requirement.
Do I need to use the baffle?
Yes — the included sealed baffle enclosure is what gives the speaker its volume and bass. Always mount the speaker in its baffle (or another sealed enclosure) for the best sound.
Can I run two speakers on one decoder?
Yes. If your decoder has a 2-watt amplifier, wire this 1-watt speaker in series with a second 1-watt speaker to match the load.
Will it fit my locomotive?
At just 16 x 12 mm it fits most HO locomotives and many larger N installations. Measure your available space against the listed dimensions before installing.
