Is this turntable ready to use out of the box?
Yes — it comes fully assembled with the motor and Control Box and Code 83 rail already mounted on the bridge. You'll cut the mounting hole, wire it in, and supply a 12-18V AC or 16-24V DC power supply (not included).
Does it work with DCC?
Yes. The included Cornerstone Control Box operates on both DC and DCC layouts. For control via a DCC throttle or serial controller, add the Cornerstone Advanced Control Module (933-2321, sold separately).
How big a locomotive will it turn?
The 130' bridge handles locomotives up to 18-7/8" (46.1cm) long — large enough for a 4-8-8-4 Big Boy or other big modern power.
What size hole do I need to cut?
It requires an 18-1/4" (45.6cm) mounting hole and has a 19-1/8" (47.8cm) overall diameter.
