ESU LLC ESU 54671 | PowerPack Mini for LokPilot V4.0, LokSound V4.0, LokPilot 5 family and LokSound 5 family, 1F/2.7V | Multi Scale
The new ESU PowerPack Mini can be wired to all fourth and fifth generation ESU decoders. It reliably supplies energy to your locomotive when traversing dirty track or long turnout ladders. With its energy storage (1 Farad capacity) the unit supplies power to all light and motor functions as well as to the sound module. Subject to the energy consumption of your model it may continue to move for up to three seconds. The PowerPack Mini incorporates an integral charging circuit controlled by the decoder. Therefore it may be connected even during programming. In order to avoid an undue load on the booster in case there are several models in the same booster sector, the charging current is limited. The buffer time can be reduced by means of a CV. This may be useful to assure the correct stopping position ahead of signals showing the “Stop” aspect (red signal). Although it is considerably smaller than its predecessor, the space requirements of the PowerPack Mini of about 15.7 mm x 9.7 mm x 13 mm must be taken into account when installing this unit. A three-pole wire harness connects the PowerPack Mini to the decoder. The wires are already soldered to the PowerPack Mini and must be soldered to the appropriate solder pads of the decoder. Kadee Kadee 520 | 33" Diameter Smooth Back Metal Code 110 Wheels - Freight and Passenger | HO Scale
#520 - 33" Diameter Smooth Back Wheelsets (Code 110) - HO Scale Smooth wheelsets are most commonly found on diesel era rolling stock. Kadee® wheel sets are manufactured to the most exacting standards and feature: RP-25 contour, non-magnetic metal wheels and insulated needlepoint axles. Twelve Sets (1 Set = 1 Axle) Axle Tip to Tip: 1.018" Wheelset Features: Code 110 (.110") 33" Smooth Back Wheels Accurate markings Incredible detail true to prototype Non-magnetic Metal Wheels Smooth tracking Free rolling Contoured Insulated Axles RP-25 Free rolling wheels Needlepoint Axles Axle Tip to Tip: 1.018" Freight & Passenger Package Includes: (12) Sets #520 33" Diameter Smooth Back Wheelsets (Code 110) The term Code 110 and Code 88 relates to the width of the wheels and has no relationship to track code. Code 110 wheels are .110" wide and Code 88 are .088" wide. Code 110 wheels are the common (or "Standard") width wheels and Code 88 are what is called "Semi-Scale" and are used when the modeler wants a more prototypical looking wheel width. Actual HO-Scale prototypical wheel width would be around .067" wide and although they will run OK on the average track they will not go through common turnouts and crossings. Code 88 (.088") is just about the minimum width of wheel that will run on most standard or common track if gauged correctly. It really is a matter of appearances because there's very little operational differences between running Code 110 or Code 88 wheels. Code 88 wheels look really good and are most noticeable on open frame cars like hoppers and tank cars. However, they also look great on boxcars, gondolas, and reefers but not quite as noticeable. As mentioned above track code and wheel code have no relationship meaning Code 110 and Code 88 will run on most any code of track. Track code is simply the measured height of the rail, code 100 is .100" tall, code 83 is .083" tall, code 70 is .070" tall, and so on.

By default, this decoder does not come with a pre-programmed Sound Profile. Nevertheless, we provide complimentary Sound File programming for all ESU decoders. Please be aware that opting for Sound File Programming in your order might result in a shipment delay of 1 to 2 business days. Visit this link to preview ESU Sounds The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA has been specially developed for installation in track N vehicles of the Kato USA brand: Most diesel locomotives of this manufacturer are installed in the American model of these decoders instead of the analog board installed as standard. Finally, these models can also be easily retrofitted with a LokSound decoder. The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA with its dimensions of 60.0mm x 10.1mm is a pure DCC decoder and comes without a loudspeaker. Modes The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA is a "pure-bred" DCC decoder. 14 to 128 driving steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders log in fully to a suitable digital center. It masters all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom® the CV values can be read out on the main track with suitable control panels. Auxiliary registers exist for control panels that can only program the CVs from 1-255. The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA Decoder detects the Märklin® brake distances as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake blocks or dc voltage is also possible. In addition, it also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An AUTOMATIC ABC commuter train allows automatic commuting between two stations. The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA can be used on analog DC webs. The decoder switches "on-the-fly" fully automatically between operating modes. Most of the time, nothing needs to be adjusted. Sound The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA Decoder can play up to 12 channels simultaneously. Each channel can be resolved with up to 16 bits / 31250 kHz and offers hi-fi quality on its system. There is virtually no difference to the original audible anymore. A Class-D audio output with up to 3W output power controls the speakers, which can have between 4 ohms and 32 ohms impedance. A 128 Mbit sound memory provides enough capacity. All individual noises can be adjusted individually in the volume. The super-flexible sound engine without a rigid schedule allows the exemplary simulation of all conceivable rail tracks. Functions Despite its compact dimensions, the LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA is equipped with an enormen number of function outputs. Two directly soldered SMD LEDs are designed for front and rear front and rear head lighting. For older models, two wired LEDs can alternatively be soldered and switched separately. Three further reinforced function outputs are also available. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately. Motor The motor control of the LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA has a variable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz, which ensures super-quiet operation, especially for bell anchor motors – the typical "hum" is a thing of the past. The load control can be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs. The unique "Autotune" function allows the decoder to be automatically measured against the motor. The LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA decoder delivers up to 0.9A motor power. Operational reliability A PowerPack can be connected to the LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA on request to bridge dirty rail sections. Protection Of course, the outputs are protected against overload. We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible. ESU LLC ESU 58823 | LokSound 5 Micro Sound and DCC Control Decoder - Single Wires | N & HO Scale
By default, this decoder does not come with a pre-programmed Sound Profile. Nevertheless, we provide complimentary Sound File programming for all ESU decoders. Please be aware that opting for Sound File Programming in your order might result in a shipment delay of 1 to 2 business days. Visit this link to preview ESU Sounds LokSound 5 Micro Sound and DCC Control Decoder - Single Wires Version The LokSound 5 micro is a “little wonder”: With only 21mmx10mm footprint, it is by far one of the smallest LokSound decoders we’ve ever built. Thus it should fit into all N gauge and TT vehicles, but is also suitable for small H0 vehicles. All LokSound decoders are equipped with a Next18 interface and are available with adapter plugs to suit all popular digital interface types. The LokSound 5 micro DCC is made for the North American and Australian markets. It is a pure DCC Decoder, which supports RailComPlus and can also be used on DC layouts. Please note the LokSound 5 DCC decoder does not come with a speaker. Operating modes The LokSound 5 micro is a true multi protocol decoder. It supports DCC as well as Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4. Of course it supports 14 through to 128 speed steps as well as 2 and 4 digit addresses in DCC format and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus® the decoders register themselves fully automatically on suitable command stations. This decoder supports all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom® you may read out the CV values on the main, provided you have a command station supporting RailCom®. There are utility registers for command stations that only facilitate programming of CVs ranging from 1 to 255. Motorola® users benefit from up to 28 speed steps for 255 addresses. Three additional Motorola® addresses facilitate triggering of 16 functions. An integral programming mode even allows programming with the good old Control Unit 6021. The M4 protocol supports the automatic registration on mfx® compatible central units. The LokSound decoder supports the Märklin® braking sections just as well as the ZIMO® HLU braking commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake generators or with DC is also possible. Furthermore the locomotive with a LokSound will come to a halt when a Selectrix® braking diode is switched into the circuit. The ABC push-pull feature enables the automatic commuting between two stations. The LokSound 5 micro decoder is also suitable for analogue DC and AC (!) layouts. Sound The LokSound 5 micro decoder can reproduce up to 10 channels simultaneously. Each channel offers up to 16 Bit / 31250 kHz and thus we have finally achieved hi-fi sound quality on your layout. For all practical purposes one cannot detect any difference to the original. A double class D audio power amplifier with up to 3W output power feeds the speakers with a permitted impedance of 4 – 32 Ohms. The huge 128 MBit sound memory assures sufficient storage capacity. The volume of all individual sound fragments may be adjusted separately. The outstandingly flexible sound engine without a rigid flow chart facilitates a prototypical simulation of all conceivable rail vehicles. Three separately adjustable braking functions and two alternative load scenarios provide you with maximum control of your vehicles. The brightness of each output may be adjusted separately. The decoder supports the automatic push and pull movements – known as the coupler waltz - required for reliable operation of digital couplers such as the ones by ROCO® and Krois® as well as Telex® couplers. Motor control Motor control of the LokSound 5 micro has been further improved. A variable PWM pulse frequency ranging from 10 kHz to 50 kHz assures perfect silent operation, particularly for coreless motors. Thus the typical hum is a thing of the past. Load control can now be adjusted with up to 10 separate CVs and thus will manage even the most difficult cases. The unique “Auto Tune” function facilitates the automatic calibration of the decoder to perfectly match the motor. The LokSound 5 micro decoder supplies sufficient motor current (up to 0.75 A) for the intended applications. SoundTraxx SoundTraxx 885613 | BLU-PNP8 Blunami EMD Diesel Sound Decoder | HO Scale
Blunami will change the way you enjoy the model railroading hobby! The BLU-PNP8 is a universal factory board replacement sound decoder suitable for use in many manufacturer’s diesel models such as those made by Atlas, Athearn, and InterMountain Models. It is suitable for a wide variety of models from HO to S scale. It can be operated in three different ways: DC, DCC, and Wireless mode. Using the Blunami App, you can operate your locomotive incredibly easily. Need Help Choosing a Sound Profile? We have tons of sounds to match a wide range of locomotives. So many, in fact, we cannot fit them all on one decoder. Therefore, they are broken up into sound profiles of like sounds (EMD, GE, ALCO, etc.). If you don't know which sound profile you need, the best place to start is the Sound Selection References. These will list all the prime movers or exhaust chuffs available on each sound profile. If you need further assistance explore these links: Decoder Selector: Tells you which board format and part number you need for specific models. Sound Samples: Hear SoundTraxx sounds in action! Choosing the Right Sound System: If you are new to SoundTraxx, model railroading, or are unfamiliar with our products. Sound Selection References: There are several for each decoder and they can be found below or in the Manuals section of SoundTraxx's website. DYNAMIC DIGITAL EXHAUST For added realism, you’ll love SoundTraxx's reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) feature that automatically notches your model's engine up or down depending on the load on the motor. With the Blunami App, DDE calibration has never been easier. When your locomotive is traveling across flat terrain and simply maintaining speed, you will hear your locomotive chugging along. But, when the locomotive encounters a grade and the engineer applies more throttle to get the train up the hill, the engine sounds will automatically react and reflect the increase of power needed to crest the hill. DDE accomplishes this by calculating the changes in strain or load on the motor and adjusting the exhaust to appropriately simulate the work the engineer would be doing to the throttle of the engine. This gives Blunami the ability to create the most realistic experience possible. HIGH-QUALITY SOUND LIBRARYSoundTraxx's large selection of sound effects includes: Up to 12 Prime Movers in each sound profile Up to 12 Bells 40+ Airhorns Additional couplers, cab chatter, and more! ADDED REALISMAdditional realism can be simulated by adding functioning locomotive and train brakes, injectors, and more.
