No — it is DCC-ready. It runs on standard DC out of the box, and you can add a drop-in decoder (Kato recommends the TCS K0D8-C) for DCC operation. It does not include sound.

No. This #405 model represents an as-built Phase III F40PH without ditch lights and with the original nose profile.

What couplers does it use?
