Broadway Limited 10023 | EMD GP35 Union Pacific 747 1980s Paint DCC Ready | HO Scale

Description

The GP35 was EMD's answer to a horsepower race it was losing. Built from 1963, it put 2,500 hp on four axles and turned up on nearly every Class 1 railroad in North America, and many were rebuilt and kept working for decades. Broadway Limited models the common low-nose version. This one wears Union Pacific's 1980s Armour Yellow and gray with large lettering as #747. It is the Stealth version: no sound, runs on DC as supplied, with a speaker installed and a 21-pin socket ready for a decoder.
