Metra's SD70MACH fleet was rebuilt from former freight units for Chicago commuter service, and #525 carries the America 250 scheme, a striking red, white and blue treatment applied for the semiquincentennial.
The SD70MAC family were EMD's AC-traction heavy haulers, and Rapido has modelled them with the detail differences that separate one railroad's order from another rather than shipping one generic shell for every road.
