The SoundTraxx 885841 is a TSU-BH1 Tsunami2 digital sound decoder with the GE sound set. Tsunami2 combines a 16-bit sound system, Hyperdrive2 motor control, Hyperlight lighting effects and a full NMRA-compliant DCC decoder on one board, driven by a 32-bit processor with 16 polyphonic sound channels.
This version is a drop-in board replacement for Bachmann Sound Value diesels, rated 2A and suited to HO scale Bachmann Sound Value diesels. Dynamic Digital Exhaust reads the load on the motor and notches the engine up and down on its own, so the locomotive sounds like it is working for its train.

Does it run on DC?
Yes. Tsunami2 runs on a standard DC power pack as well as DCC, though sound and lighting options are limited on DC. Full function control needs a DCC system.
