Description

GE built the ES44AC Evolution Series from 2005 to meet the EPA's Tier 3 emissions rules, and it quickly became one of the most common road units on North American main lines. Big, modern and AC-powered, it is the engine you see leading today's intermodal and unit trains.

This WalthersMainline model is BNSF #250, with ESU LokSound DCC and sound factory installed. Heavy die-cast frame, all-wheel drive and brass flywheels make it a strong, smooth runner for modern freight.
