Description

EMD developed the SD70ACe in the early 2000s, adding the emissions equipment needed to meet EPA standards to the proven SD70 platform. It is a front-line road engine for the big Class I railroads and still leads heavy freight across the country.

This WalthersMainline model is Norfolk Southern America250 The Freedom #250, with ESU LokSound DCC and sound factory installed. Heavy die-cast frame, all-wheel drive and brass flywheels make it a strong, smooth runner for modern freight.
