Tsunami2 combines a 16-bit sound system, Hyperdrive2 motor control, Hyperlight lighting effects and a full NMRA-compliant DCC decoder on one board, driven by a 32-bit processor with 16 polyphonic sound channels. This version is the 21-pin MTC plug-in decoder, rated 1A and suited to HO scale and larger. Dynamic Digital Exhaust reads the load on the motor and notches the engine up and down on its own, so the locomotive sounds like it is working for its train.
