The SoundTraxx 885025 is a TSU-4400 Tsunami2 digital sound decoder with the EMD-2 sound set. Tsunami2 combines a 16-bit sound system, Hyperdrive2 motor control, Hyperlight lighting effects and a full NMRA-compliant DCC decoder on one board, driven by a 32-bit processor with 16 polyphonic sound channels. This version is the big-scale decoder: a 4-amp motor rating and screw terminals instead of solder joints, rated 4A and suited to some S, O and Large Scale locomotives. Dynamic Digital Exhaust reads the load on the motor and notches the engine up and down on its own, so the locomotive sounds like it is working for its train. Features 8 EMD-2 prime movers: EMD 567 12-cylinder (no transition), EMD 567C 16-cylinder non-turbo, EMD 645E 12-cylinder non-turbo, EMD 645E 12-cylinder turbo, EMD 645F 16-cylinder turbo, EMD 645E 20-cylinder turbo, EMD 710G 12-cylinder, EMD 710G 16-cylinder Over 40 air horns and 13 bells, plus air compressors, couplers and dynamos Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) matches exhaust volume and RPM to the load on the motor automatically Three braking types: independent, train and dynamic braking Hyperdrive2 motor control for smooth, creep-speed switching Over 20 Hyperlight lighting effects across 6 function outputs 16 polyphonic sound channels on a 32-bit processor, with a 7-band equalizer and adjustable reverb CurrentKeeper ready — works with the SoundTraxx 810140 CurrentKeeper More Information Item Number: SoundTraxx 885025 Model: TSU-4400 Tsunami2 Sound Set: EMD-2 Diesel Scale: some S, O and Large Scale locomotives Decoder Size: 69 x 30.5 x 14mm Connection: Universal-style with screw terminal blocks (no soldering) Max. FAQ Will this fit my locomotive? It measures 69 x 30.5 x 14mm and connects by universal-style with screw terminal blocks (no soldering). Check that against the space in your shell before ordering — other Tsunami2 versions use different connectors and sizes. Is a speaker included? No. Pair it with an 8-ohm speaker rated 3 watt or better that fits your shell. Which prime movers do I get?All 8 listed above, selectable via CV 123. You are not locked to one engine sound — pick whichever matches your prototype. EMD-2 or plain EMD — which do I want? This is the EMD-2 set: less-common EMD prime movers, named by cylinder count. The plain EMD set covers the more common 567/645/710 variants. Does it run on DC?Yes. Tsunami2 runs on a standard DC power pack as well as DCC, though sound and lighting options are limited on DC. Full function control needs a DCC system.

  • Digitrax DH187A0 | Series 7 Mobile Decoder | HO Scale - Squeaky's Trains

Digitrax Digitrax DH187A0 | Series 7 Mobile Decoder | HO Scale

    1 In Stock In Store

The Digitrax DH187A0 is a drop-in light board replacement for HO locomotives - you unscrew the factory DC light board and this Series 7 decoder takes its place, keeping the original lighting positions. It is the standard fit for many Kato, Athearn Genesis and Stewart models, and it brings eight FX7 function outputs at 300mA, far more lighting capability than a two-function decoder. Building a DCC fleet? Browse our DCC Decoders, DCC Speakers, and DCC Accessories. Features Drop-in light board replacement - swaps for the factory DC board in many Kato, Athearn Genesis, Stewart and similar HO locomotives. No harness to route. 8 FX7 function outputs at 300mA - enough for headlights, ditch lights, number boards, cab light and class lights, with prototypical effects on each. 1.0 amp continuous, 2.0 amps peak - ample for single-motor HO diesels. Series 7 platform with back-EMF speed stabilisation for steady low-speed control. Standard NMRA DCC - runs and programs on any DCC system, not just Digitrax. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number DH187A0 Product Type DCC Mobile Decoder (Drop-In Board) Scale HO Motor Current 1.0 A continuous / 2.0 A peak Function Outputs 8 x FX7, 300 mA Connection Direct board replacement Series Digitrax Series 7 Sound No - motor and function decoder only Condition New FAQ How do I know it will fit my locomotive?Drop-in boards are shape-specific. Pull the shell and compare the factory board footprint, mounting clips and light positions against the DH187A0. It is the usual fit for many Kato, Athearn Genesis and Stewart HO diesels, but check yours before ordering - if it does not match, a wired decoder such as the DH127D is the fallback. Why choose a drop-in board over a plug-in decoder? No harness and no wire to hide, and the lighting stays where the manufacturer put it. On models where the light board also carries the motor contacts, a drop-in is usually the cleanest install you can do. What can I do with eight function outputs?Headlight and rear headlight, ditch lights that alternate with the horn, number boards, cab light, class lights - each output can be assigned its own effect and dimming via CV settings. Does it have sound? No. This is a motor and function decoder. For sound in HO, look at a Digitrax SDXH series decoder or a SoundTraxx unit, plus a speaker.

The SoundTraxx 885601 is a BLU-1100 Blunami digital sound decoder with the EMD sound set. Blunami is a Tsunami2 with a Bluetooth radio added, so it runs three ways: as a normal DCC decoder on any NMRA-compliant system, on plain DC, or in wireless mode straight from your phone or tablet. Wireless mode needs no command station and no programming track — an old DC power pack and the free Blunami app are enough, and CVs can be read and changed over Bluetooth while the locomotive is running. The app is free for iOS and Android. This version is the most compact decoder in the Blunami line — small enough for N scale, suited to N, HO and small S scale. Features 9 EMD prime movers: EMD 567 No Transition, EMD 567 Non-Turbo, EMD 567 Turbo, EMD Dual 567, EMD 645 Non-Turbo, EMD 645 Turbo, EMD Dual 645 Turbo, EMD 710 Turbo, EMD 710 G3C-T2 Over 40 air horns and 13 bells, plus air compressors, couplers and dynamos Bluetooth control from the free Blunami app (iOS and Android) — over 300 settings without editing a single CV by hand Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) automatically matches exhaust volume and RPM to the load on the motor, and the app calibrates it for you Three braking types: independent, train and dynamic braking Hyperdrive2 motor control for smooth, creep-speed switching Over 20 Hyperlight lighting effects across 4 function outputs 16 polyphonic sound channels on a 32-bit processor, with a 7-band equalizer and adjustable reverb CurrentKeeper ready — works with the SoundTraxx 810140 CurrentKeeper More Information Item Number: SoundTraxx 885601 Model: BLU-1100 Blunami Sound Set: EMD Diesel Scale: N, HO and small S scale Decoder Size: 31 x 10.5 x 5mm Connection: Hardwire (single wires) Max. FAQ Do I need a DCC system to use this? No. That is the point of Blunami. It runs on a plain DC power pack with no command station at all — you control it from the free Blunami app over Bluetooth. It is also a fully NMRA-compliant DCC decoder if you already run DCC. Does the app work on Android?Yes. The free Blunami app is published for both iOS and Android. (Some older listings and dealer pages still say iOS only — that is out of date.) Is a speaker included? No. Pair it with an 8-ohm speaker rated 1 watt or better that fits your shell. • Digitrax DO487 | High-Capacity Mobile Decoder | Multi Scale - Squeaky's Trains

Digitrax Digitrax DO487 | High-Capacity Mobile Decoder | Multi Scale

    1 In Stock In Store

The Digitrax DO487 is the heavy hauler of the mobile decoder range: four amps continuous and five amps peak, wired rather than plugged, for the large-scale and O scale locomotives that will cook an ordinary HO decoder. Eight FX3 function outputs at 300mA give you the lighting capacity to match, and because it is a wired decoder it goes into anything you can solder to. Building a DCC fleet? Browse our DCC Decoders, DCC Speakers, and DCC Accessories. Features 4.0 amps continuous, 5.0 amps peak - built for large-scale and O scale mechanisms, dual-motor drives and older high-draw motors. 8 FX3 function outputs at 300mA for headlights, marker lights, cab lighting, smoke units and other accessories. Wired installation - no socket required, so it suits scratch installs, brass models and repowered older locomotives. Suits HO, S, O and G scale where the current draw justifies it. Standard NMRA DCC - runs and programs on any DCC system, not just Digitrax. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number DO487 Product Type DCC Mobile Decoder (High Capacity) Scale HO, S, O, G Motor Current 4.0 A continuous / 5.0 A peak Function Outputs 8 x FX3, 300 mA Connection Wired - no plug fitted Sound No - motor and function decoder only Condition New FAQ Do I actually need a 4 amp decoder?Only if the locomotive draws it. Measure stall current on DC before deciding - a typical single-motor HO diesel pulls well under an amp and is fine on a 1 amp decoder. Reach for the DO487 when you have a large-scale mechanism, twin motors, or an older open-frame motor. Will it fit in the locomotive? It is a physically larger board than an HO decoder, which is rarely a problem in O or G scale. In HO it is worth measuring the available space in the shell or tender before ordering. Does it have sound? No. The DO487 is a motor and function decoder. Pair it with a separate sound decoder, or choose a high-current sound decoder instead, if you want audio. How do I wire it in?Track pickups to the red and black leads, motor to orange and grey, and function outputs to your lighting. Isolate the motor completely from the frame before you connect anything - a motor still grounded to the chassis is the most common way to destroy a decoder.
