Highlighting is what makes a model read at arm’s length — the sharp edge of a roof rib, the worn lip of a hopper bay, the raised piping on a figure’s coat. The Army Painter Highlighting brush is the all-rounder built for exactly that: a sharp tip that reaches awkward spots, with enough body behind it to lay a clean line rather than a scratchy one. High-quality taklon bristles mimic the absorption of sable, so the paint flows off the tip instead of sitting on it.

What scale is this brush for?
Any of them. A highlighting brush is scale-agnostic — the same brush that edges an N scale roofline will highlight an O gauge figure.
How is this different from the Precise Detail brush?
Highlighting carries more paint and is built to pull a clean line along an edge. Precise Detail (BR7001P) has a finer point for picking out individual rivets and small spots.
What are taklon bristles?
A synthetic filament that mimics the absorption of natural sable without animal hair. It holds a point well and rinses clean in cold water.
How do I make it last?
Load paint on the tip only, never up into the ferrule. Rinse in cold water immediately after use and store the brush tip-up.
