Kato Narrow Gauge Unitrack brings the same snap-together roadbed track N scale modelers rely on to HOe, HOn30 and OO-9 layouts. The 52-300 is a compact #4 left-hand electric turnout with a 481mm (19") diverging radius and a built-in switch machine, sized for sidings, passing loops, yard leads and island platforms on 9mm gauge track.
It comes with two short extension tracks for the diverging side, so you can build a clean siding right out of the package.

Features
- Built-in switch machine hides the mechanism under the roadbed, so there is no bulky motor sitting beside the track.
- 15 degree diverging route pairs with the Kato 52-250 R481-15 curve to bring a siding back parallel to the main.
- Two short extension tracks included for the diverging side.
- Tie spacing is scaled for narrow gauge models, not N scale, for a more convincing HOe or OO-9 look.
- Snaps together with UniJoiners. No nails, glue or ballasting needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to throw it electrically?
A Kato 24-840 Turnout Control Switch, sold separately. It plugs into the turnout lead wire and connects to the accessory terminals of your power pack.
Does it work with my N scale Unitrack?
It shares the same 9mm gauge and UniJoiner connection, so it will physically join N scale Unitrack. The ties are spaced for narrow gauge, so it looks different sitting next to N scale track.
Can I use it on a DCC layout?
Yes. The track works on DC or DCC. To throw the turnout from your DCC system, wire the switch machine to a stationary accessory decoder instead of the 24-840.
Is the right-hand version available?
Yes, the Kato 52-301 is the right-hand turnout, listed below.
