Walthers Cornerstone 933-3181 | Cinder Conveyor & Ash Pit Kit | HO Scale

Description

The Walthers Cornerstone Cinder Conveyor & Ash Pit adds authentic steam-era detail to your HO scale engine servicing facility. Based on a Fairbanks-Morse design introduced in the late 1920s, conveyors like this cleaned out locomotive ash pans and hauled the cinders up to a waiting hopper or gondola — a must-have at any busy steam terminal. The kit builds into a compact, highly detailed scene with a steel tower, machinery shed, positionable dump chute and bucket, and a complete under-track ash pit.
