The SoundTraxx 885025 is a TSU-4400 Tsunami2 digital sound decoder with the EMD-2 sound set. Tsunami2 combines a 16-bit sound system, Hyperdrive2 motor control, Hyperlight lighting effects and a full NMRA-compliant DCC decoder on one board, driven by a 32-bit processor with 16 polyphonic sound channels. This version is the big-scale decoder: a 4-amp motor rating and screw terminals instead of solder joints, rated 4A and suited to some S, O and Large Scale locomotives. Dynamic Digital Exhaust reads the load on the motor and notches the engine up and down on its own, so the locomotive sounds like it is working for its train.
