The Digitrax PS615 is the 90 watt power supply Digitrax ships with its Evolution starter sets, and the one to reach for whenever a command station or booster needs a full 5 amps at the rails. It puts out 15V DC at 6 amps from a universal 100-240V input, so it works on any household supply, and it replaces the older PS514.

FAQ
Which Digitrax systems does the PS615 power? It is rated for Digitrax command stations and boosters running at 5 amps, and it is the supply Digitrax includes with the Evolution starter sets (EVO, EVOD, EVOX, EVOXD). Check your unit manual for its required input voltage before connecting.
Can I use it to replace my old PS514?Yes. The PS615 is the direct replacement for the discontinued PS514, with more current available.
Will it work outside the US?The supply itself accepts 100-240V at 50 or 60Hz, so it works worldwide. It takes a standard IEC cord set, so you use whichever mains lead suits your country.
Do I need a 6 amp supply for a 5 amp booster?Yes, and that headroom is the point. A supply rated right at the booster output will run hot and sag under load; 6 amps into a 5 amp booster leaves margin for the conversion losses.
