The Digitrax UP7 LocoNet Universal Panel is the fascia-mounted plug-in point that turns a LocoNet layout into a true walkaround railroad. Mount one every few feet along the fascia and operators can plug in a throttle, walk with their train, and unplug at the far end without ever dropping the session. Two front throttle jacks, three more LocoNet jacks for daisy-chaining, optional throttle charging, and a Track Status LED make the UP7 the modern drop-in replacement for the long-running Digitrax UP5 panel.

Features
Two front-panel RJ12 throttle jacks so operators can plug in, unplug, and walk the layout without ever interrupting the LocoNet session.
Three more RJ12 LocoNet jacks (two rear, one side) make daisy-chaining panels and routing LocoNet cable around the layout straightforward.
Optional throttle charging for DT602 and UT6 throttles, with power sharing across up to six UP7 panels so batteries stay topped off between operating sessions.
Track Status LED gives an at-a-glance check that the section is powered, which makes troubleshooting far quicker.
Plug-and-play installation - fully connectorized, no soldering required. Cut a 2.6 x 1.7 inch fascia opening, fasten with four #6 screws, and plug it in.
Direct replacement for the Digitrax UP5 with the same LocoNet compatibility and an updated design.
Scale: All Scales (Z through G) - works with any LocoNet-equipped Digitrax command station.

FAQ
Will the UP7 work with my Digitrax system?Yes. Any Digitrax command station or booster with a LocoNet port works, including the Zephyr Express, DCS210+, DCS240+ and older LocoNet systems. Plug it in with standard LocoNet cable and it is ready to use.
Do I need a power supply for it?Not for normal operation - LocoNet runs the panel on its own. Add a 12V DC supply such as the Digitrax PS14 only if you want the panel to charge DT602 or UT6 throttles while LocoNet is asleep.
Can I use the UP7 to replace a UP5?Yes. The UP7 is the direct successor to the UP5 with the same LocoNet function, so it is the normal upgrade path for existing panels.
How many panels does a layout need? Most operators mount one every 6 to 10 feet of fascia so a throttle jack is never more than a few steps away as you follow your train.
What cable does it use?Standard 6-conductor flat LocoNet cable with RJ12 6-pin connectors - the same cable used throughout a Digitrax LocoNet layout.
