The Kato 24-840BK turnout control switch lets you throw Kato Unitrack electric turnouts from your control panel instead of reaching across the layout. It clips onto the side of a Kato power pack, and the turnout lead wire plugs straight into the back. The same switch works with both N scale and HO scale Unitrack electric turnouts. This is the current black version of Kato's long-running 24-840 switch, with the same function as the earlier model. Specifications Brand Kato Item Number 24-840BK Scale N and HO (Kato Unitrack) Type Turnout control switch, one per electric turnout Mounting Clips onto the side of Kato power packs, and onto other 24-840BK switches Connection Plug-in socket for the Unitrack turnout lead wire In the Package 1 switch, number labels Color Black UPC 4949727695068 Condition New Features Flip the lever to throw a Kato Unitrack electric turnout. The turnout lead wire plugs into the switch with no soldering. Frequently Asked Questions How many switches do I need? One for each electric turnout you want to throw from the control panel.
