FAQ
Does this kit require glue and paint?Yes. This is an unpainted Cornerstone kit that requires plastic cement for assembly and is designed to be painted and weathered. Molded colors are close to a base lumber mill palette, but painting brings out the board-and-batten texture and corrugated roof detail.
How much layout space does the complete scene need?Plan on at least 18 x 11 inches of real estate for the mill and conveyor alone. With the powerhouse and sawdust burner placed nearby, most modelers give the whole scene a roughly 20 x 14-inch footprint.
What era does it fit?The prototype architecture spans the 1920s through today, so it works equally well on steam, transition, and modern diesel-era N scale layouts.
Is a log car or lumber load included? No. Log cars, lumber loads, and figures are sold separately — pair this kit with log flats, bulkhead flats, or boxcars to complete the scene.
