  • Digitrax STAW | Stow Away Throttle Holder - 1 Pack - Squeaky's Trains

Digitrax Digitrax STAW4 | Stow Away Throttle Holder - 4 Pack

    Out of stock

Throttles get put down on the layout, on the scenery, or on the floor. The Digitrax STAW4 is a four-pack of fascia-mounted brackets that give every throttle somewhere to live - stowed, out of the way, and still plugged into LocoNet so it keeps charging between sessions. More LocoNet gear? Browse our DCC Accessories, DCC Wiring, and the full Digitrax range. Features Four brackets per pack - enough to give each operating position its own throttle station. Holds DT602, UT6 and other legacy Digitrax throttles, so it works across a mixed throttle fleet. LocoNet and power ports stay accessible while stowed, which means the throttle can charge in its bracket rather than on a shelf somewhere. Fascia mounted and easy to install - a few screws at each operating position. Durable construction, built to survive being grabbed at during an operating session. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number STAW4 Product Type Throttle Holder Scale All scales Quantity 4 brackets Fits DT602, UT6 and other legacy Digitrax throttles Mounting Fascia Ports LocoNet and power accessible when stowed Warranty 90 day, materials and workmanship Condition New FAQ Will it hold my throttle? It is designed around the DT602 and UT6, and also holds other legacy Digitrax throttles. If you run a mixed fleet from different eras, check the older ones against the bracket before buying a set for the whole layout. Can the throttle charge while it is in the bracket?Yes - the LocoNet and power ports stay accessible when stowed, so a throttle left in its holder can keep charging between sessions. Where should I mount them? One at each operating position, at a height where an operator can drop a throttle in without looking. Near a universal panel is the usual choice so the cable run is short. How do they attach? They are fascia mounted with screws. Pick a spot on the fascia clear of the layout edge so a stowed throttle is not in the way of anyone leaning in.

    Digitrax Digitrax LNC162 | 16' LocoNet Cables - Pre-Tested RJ12, 2-Pack | All Scales

    Out of stock

The Digitrax LNC162 is a 2-pack of 16-foot (4.9m) pre-made, pre-tested LocoNet cables — the standard interconnect for Digitrax DCC command stations, boosters, throttles, and accessories. Each cable uses a 6-wire RJ12 plug, the same telco-style connector used throughout the LocoNet network, so they're ready to plug in and use straight out of the package. Looking for more DCC accessories? Browse our Track & DCC Accessories collection. Features Pack of 2 pre-made, pre-tested 16-foot (4.9m) LocoNet cables — ready to use out of the box. 6-wire RJ12 telco-style male plugs on each end, compatible with all Digitrax LocoNet devices. Works with all scales — LocoNet is a scale-agnostic digital command control network. Cable length can be customized using the Digitrax LNCMK LocoNet Cable Maker Kit (sold separately). Compatible with all Digitrax command stations, boosters, panels, throttles, and LocoNet accessories. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number LNC162 Scale All Scales Cable Length 16 ft (4.9m) Connector Type 6-Wire RJ12 Male Plug Quantity 2 cables per pack Product Type DCC Accessory / LocoNet Cable Condition New UPC 644018154048 FAQ What is LocoNet used for?LocoNet is Digitrax's proprietary communications bus that connects your command station, boosters, throttles, and accessories. These cables carry the LocoNet signal between all your devices. Will these cables work with my non-Digitrax DCC system? These cables are designed specifically for Digitrax LocoNet. Other DCC systems may use different protocols or connector types, so check your system's compatibility before purchasing. Can I make shorter or longer cables?Yes — Digitrax sells the LNCMK LocoNet Cable Maker Kit, which lets you cut and crimp your own LocoNet cables to any length you need. Do these cables work with HO, N, and O scale layouts?Absolutely. LocoNet is a digital signal network, not a physical track component, so it works with any scale layout running Digitrax DCC.

  • Digitrax LNCMK LocoNet Cable Maker Kit

Digitrax Digitrax LNCMK LocoNet Cable Maker Kit

    Out of stock

Buying ready-made LocoNet cables in fixed lengths means every run is either too short or leaves a loop of slack under the benchwork. The Digitrax LNCMK is the alternative: fifty feet of LocoNet cable, a crimper, twenty RJ12 plugs and an LT1 tester, so you make every cable the exact length that run needs and check it works before you staple it up. More LocoNet gear? Browse our DCC Wiring, DCC Accessories, and the full Digitrax range. What's Included Item Qty LocoNet cable 50 ft Crimper tool 1 RJ12 6-conductor plugs 20 LT1 LocoNet tester 1 Features 50 ft of LocoNet cable - enough for a substantial layout, cut to whatever lengths you actually need. Crimper tool included, so there is no separate tool to buy and no improvising with pliers. 20 RJ12 6-conductor plugs - ten cables' worth of ends, with spares for the ones you get wrong while learning. LT1 tester included to confirm each cable is good before it disappears under the layout. A bad LocoNet cable is one of the most frustrating faults to chase after the fact. Works for LocoNet in any scale - the cable and connectors are the same throughout a Digitrax system. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number LNCMK Product Type LocoNet Cable Maker Kit Scale All scales Cable 50 ft, 6-conductor flat Plugs 20 x RJ12 6-pin Tools Crimper and LT1 tester included Makes Custom-length LocoNet cables Condition New FAQ Is it cheaper than buying made-up cables?Over a layout of any size, yes - and the bigger win is fit. Every run comes out the right length instead of leaving coils of slack to cable-tie out of the way. How hard is it to crimp LocoNet cable?Straightforward once you have done two or three. LocoNet uses 6-conductor flat cable with the connectors reversed end to end; the instructions cover the orientation, and the LT1 tester tells you immediately if you got it wrong. What does the LT1 tester do?It confirms a finished LocoNet cable is wired correctly, and it also tests decoders. Having it in the kit means you can check each cable on the bench rather than discovering the fault after installation. How many cables will 50 feet make? That depends entirely on your runs, but there are 20 plugs in the kit - ten cables' worth of ends - which is the practical limit before you need more connectors.

  • Digitrax LNC82 | 2-Pack 8 ft LocoNet Cables - RJ12 6-Conductor for DCC Throttle Bus | Multi Scale

    Digitrax Digitrax LNC82 | 2-Pack 8 ft LocoNet Cables - RJ12 6-Conductor for DCC Throttle Bus | Multi Scale

    Out of stock

The Digitrax LNC82 is a 2-pack of 8-foot LocoNet cables — the standard RJ12 6-conductor cables you need to wire up a Digitrax DCC system. Use them to connect throttles to UP5 panels, link LocoNet peripherals (BDL16, BDL168, DS64, etc.), or extend a LocoNet bus across your layout. Two cables in every package. Looking for more DCC wiring and accessories? Browse our Electronics & Wiring and DCC Decoders collections. Features 2 cables per package — 8 feet long each. RJ12 6-position / 6-conductor (6P6C) plugs on both ends — matches every Digitrax LocoNet jack. Flat ribbon cable construction — runs neatly along benchwork edges. Works with all Digitrax DCC systems — Zephyr, Super Empire Builder, Super Chief, DCS210, DCS240, etc. Length sufficient for typical throttle-to-panel runs and panel-to-panel hops on home layouts. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number LNC82 Type LocoNet cable — RJ12 6P6C Length 8 feet each Quantity 2 cables per pack Plug RJ12 6-position 6-conductor (6P6C) on both ends System Digitrax LocoNet Condition New — sealed UPC 652667180061 FAQ Are these standard phone cables? They look similar, but Digitrax LocoNet uses 6-position 6-conductor (6P6C) wiring, not the 6P4C found in many phone cables. Use these LocoNet-spec cables to avoid wiring issues — or any high-quality 6P6C cable will work. What can I connect with them?Throttles to UP5/UP6 plug-in panels, BDL16/BDL168 detection boards to the LocoNet bus, DS64 stationary decoders, SE8C signal decoders, PR4 USB interfaces, and any other LocoNet peripheral. Will 8 feet be long enough? For most home layouts, yes — 8 feet covers a typical throttle reach from one UP5 panel to another. For larger layouts you may need longer cables (Digitrax LNC25 is 25 ft) or chain multiple LNC82s through UP panels. Do they work with non-Digitrax DCC systems? No — LocoNet is Digitrax's proprietary throttle bus. NCE, MRC, and other DCC systems use different cab buses and connectors.

  • Digitrax SDXN147A0 Series 7 DCC decoder with SoundFX speaker for N scale model trains.

Digitrax Digitrax SDXN147A0 | Series 7 Sound and DCC Control Decoder | N Scale

    Out of stock

The Digitrax SDXN147A0 puts motor control, lighting and SoundFX into one N scale board decoder, and it ships with the oval speaker already matched to it. It is a drop-in for many Atlas N locomotives, which means no harness to route and no hunting for a speaker that fits - the hardest part of an N scale sound install is already solved. Building a DCC fleet? Browse our DCC Decoders, DCC Speakers, and DCC Accessories. Features Sound, motor and lighting in one N scale board - a drop-in fit for many Atlas N locomotives. 8 ohm 9 x 18 x 4mm oval speaker included, sized for N scale shells. No guesswork about what will fit. 1.0 amp continuous, 2.0 amps peak - plenty for an N scale motor. 4 FX3 function outputs at 200mA for headlights and lighting effects alongside the sound functions. SoundFX prime mover, horn and bell, with CV-adjustable volume and sound scheme. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number SDXN147A0 Product Type DCC Sound and Motor Decoder Scale N Motor Current 1.0 A continuous / 2.0 A peak Function Outputs 4 x FX3, 200 mA Sound Yes - SoundFX Speaker Included Yes - 8 Ohm, 9 x 18 x 4 mm oval Connection Drop-in board for many Atlas N locomotives Series Digitrax Series 7 Condition New FAQ Will it fit my N scale locomotive? It is designed as a drop-in for many Atlas N models. Board decoders are shape-specific, so pull the shell and compare the factory board footprint and light positions before ordering. If it does not match, a wired N decoder is the fallback. Do I need to buy a speaker separately? No. The matched 8 ohm oval speaker is in the box. You will still get noticeably better sound if you fit it against a baffle or a sealed pocket in the shell rather than leaving it loose. Can I change the sound scheme?Yes. SoundFX schemes and volumes are set through CVs, so you can adjust horn, bell and prime mover to suit the prototype you are modelling. Do I need a Digitrax command station? Not for running - it works on any NMRA DCC system. Loading new sound files does require a Digitrax programmer.

  • Digitrax DH127MT | Series 7 Mobile Decoder | HO Scale - Squeaky's Trains

Digitrax Digitrax DH127MT | Series 7 Mobile Decoder | HO Scale

    Out of stock

The Digitrax DH127MT is a Series 7 HO mobile decoder built on the 21-pin MTC connector. If your locomotive has a 21MTC socket - common on European-built and many newer North American models - this drops straight in with no soldering and no harness to route. One amp continuous, two amps peak, with two FX7 function outputs at a generous 300mA. Building a DCC fleet? Browse our DCC Decoders, DCC Speakers, and DCC Accessories. Features 21-pin MTC socket (21MT) - plugs directly into any 21MTC-equipped HO locomotive, no soldering required. 1.0 amp continuous, 2.0 amps peak - comfortable for single-motor HO diesels and steam. 2 FX7 function outputs at 300mA, enough headroom for incandescent bulbs as well as LEDs, with effects like Mars light, ditch lights and beacons. Series 7 platform with back-EMF speed stabilisation for controlled slow-speed switching. Standard NMRA DCC - runs and programs on any DCC system, not just Digitrax. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number DH127MT Product Type DCC Mobile Decoder Scale HO Motor Current 1.0 A continuous / 2.0 A peak Function Outputs 2 x FX7, 300 mA Connection 21-pin MTC (21MT) socket Series Digitrax Series 7 Sound No - motor and function decoder only Condition New FAQ How do I know if my locomotive takes a 21MTC decoder?Pull the shell and look for a 21-pin connector on the circuit board, arranged in two rows with one pin position blanked off as a key. If you see an 8-pin or 9-pin socket instead, you need a DH127P, DH127PS or DH127D. Which way round does it plug in?The blanked pin position keys the connector so it can only seat one way. Seat it square and do not force it - a bent pin is the usual cause of a decoder that will not respond. Does it have sound? No. This is a motor and function decoder. For sound in HO, look at a Digitrax SDXH series decoder or a SoundTraxx unit, plus a speaker. Do I need a Digitrax command station? No. It is a standard NMRA DCC decoder and works on any DCC system.

  • Digitrax TL1 | Single Function DCC Decoder with Integrated Transponding - 1A Continuous, Hardwire Install | Multi Scale

Digitrax Digitrax TL1 | Single Function DCC Decoder with Integrated Transponding - 1A Continuous, Hardwire Install | Multi Scale

    Out of stock

The Digitrax TL1 is a single-function DCC decoder with integrated transponding — perfect for adding a controllable function output (lights, smoke, or other accessory) to a non-decoder locomotive while also giving you Digitrax's position-tracking feature on the same board. At just 1.0" × 0.4" × 0.16", it fits in cabooses, passenger cars, lightboards, and even N-scale shells where space is tight. Looking for more DCC decoders and electronics? Browse our DCC Decoders and Electronics & Wiring collections. Features One DCC-controllable function output with full transponding (Digitrax position-tracking) built in — no separate transponder board needed. 1A continuous, 2A peak function output — plenty for headlights, marker lights, rear lights, smoke units, or other accessories. Hardwire install with color-coded leads (blue common, white function, red & black track) — works in HO, N, O, S, and G with appropriate wire gauge. Full CV programming including FX3 lighting effects (Mars, Gyralite, Strobe, Random Flicker, Soft On/Off, etc.). SuperSonic silent-running operation — no audible motor whine. Compatible with all DCC systems following NMRA standards. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number TL1 Type Single function-output DCC decoder with transponding Function Outputs 1 (white) — 1A continuous / 2A peak Motor Output None — function-only decoder Transponding Integrated (no add-on board needed) Connection Hardwire — color-coded leads Size 1.0 × 0.4 × 0.16 in Scale Compatibility HO, N, O, S, G (any DCC scale) Condition New — sealed UPC 652667100052 FAQ What is "transponding"?Transponding is Digitrax's position-tracking technology — the TL1 reports its location back to your command station through compatible Digitrax detection sections, so you can see exactly where a transponding-equipped car or locomotive is on your layout. It's not the same as RailCom but serves a similar role. Does this drive a motor? No — the TL1 is a function-only decoder. It controls ONE output (typically a light or accessory). For motor control you need a full mobile decoder like the Digitrax DH126MT, DZ126, or any other mobile decoder. What can I wire to the function output?LEDs (with appropriate resistor), incandescent bulbs, smoke units, sound modules, ditch lights, mars lights, or any DC-powered accessory drawing under 1A continuous. FX3 effects let you simulate prototypical lighting patterns. Will it work with any DCC system?Yes — the TL1 follows NMRA DCC standards and runs on any DCC command station. Transponding readback, however, requires a Digitrax LocoNet system with appropriate detection sections (BDL168, BDL16, etc.).

    Out of stock

The Digitrax TF4 is a quad-function DCC decoder with integrated transponding — four independently controlled function outputs on one tiny board, plus Digitrax's position-tracking feature built right in. Perfect for adding ditch lights, mars lights, rear markers, classification lamps, smoke generators, or any other DCC-controlled accessory cluster to a non-decoder locomotive. Looking for more DCC decoders and electronics? Browse our DCC Decoders and Electronics & Wiring collections. Features Four independent DCC-controllable function outputs (white, yellow, green, purple) — control each one separately via your throttle. Integrated transponding — Digitrax position-tracking built in, no separate transponder board needed. 1A continuous, 2A peak combined function output — plenty for headlights, ditch lights, rear lights, smoke, or accessory clusters. Hardwire install with color-coded leads — works in HO, N, O, S, and G scale. Full CV programming including FX3 lighting effects (Mars, Gyralite, Strobe, Random Flicker, Soft On/Off, Rule 17, etc.) on every output. SuperSonic silent-running operation, NMRA DCC compatible. More Information Brand Digitrax Item Number TF4 Type Quad function-output DCC decoder with transponding Function Outputs 4 (white, yellow, green, purple) — 1A continuous combined Motor Output None — function-only decoder Transponding Integrated (no add-on board needed) Connection Hardwire — color-coded leads Scale Compatibility HO, N, O, S, G (any DCC scale) Condition New — sealed UPC 652667100083 FAQ What's the difference between the TF4 and the TL1?The TL1 has one function output; the TF4 has four. If you need to control multiple separate lighting circuits (headlight + ditch lights + class lamps + rear marker) the TF4 is the right call. Both have integrated transponding. Does this drive a motor? No — the TF4 is function-only. For motor + lights in one board, use a full mobile decoder like the Digitrax DH126 or DZ126. What can I wire to the function outputs?LEDs (with resistors), incandescent bulbs, smoke units, ditch lights, mars lights, signal lamps, sound modules — anything DC-driven under 1A combined draw. FX3 effects make each output simulate prototypical lighting patterns independently. Will it work with any DCC system?Yes — standard NMRA DCC. Transponding readback requires a Digitrax LocoNet command station with detection sections (BDL168, BDL16, etc.).
